Woolworths Group has pulled the plug on plans to open a Dan Murphy’s store in Darwin after an independent panel ruled that the development should not go ahead.  The proposed location of the store, next to three ‘dry’ Aboriginal communities, was heavily criticised by Indigenous communities and advocacy groups, with some calling for Woolworths’ Reconciliation Action Plan to be revoked.
