Port Adelaide Plaza launching Adelaide’s first Lonestar Rib House

Port Adelaide Plaza is launching the next stage of its renewed roll-out on Thursday, December 3, with a number of new restaurant offerings to open as part of a $50 million redevelopment.

New offerings include casual dining options, such as Adelaide’s first Lonestar Rib House & Brews, as well as Soonta, BanBan, Creative Poultry and SA Gourmet Meats.

Stage 1 launched in March and Stage 2 in November, with the redevelopment set to boost the plaza’s store count over 70 and expand its footprint to over 29,000 sqm.

“While the current retail environment is challenging, we are continuing to receive a record number of enquiries to be part of [the centre],” said Precision Group chief operating officer Trevor Dill, according to Shopping Centre News.

Retail spending is expected to grow 9.6 per cent to $1.1 billion at the centre by next year, Dill said, and customer traffic is likely to exceed 3.5 million per annum as families increasingly move to the area due to a number of residential developments taking place at the same time.
