Adidas opens its largest Australian store yet

Adidas biggest store in Australia

Adidas has launched its largest Australian store yet in Adelaide’s Harbour Town Premium Outlets (HTPO).

The new outlet, which replaces a smaller store in the same centre, takes up a 891sqm space at the Southern Mall of HTPO.

Adidas says the reason behind the expansion is due to the increasing demand for international brands and its own local popularity, especially when the centre achieved strong trading despite the pandemic.

“Adidas designs activewear for and with athletes of all kinds in mind and is certainly one of our most popular brands,” said Tania Rucioch, centre manager at Harbour Town Premium Outlets Adelaide.

According to Rucioch, Adidas’ sales at HTPO Adelaide recorded 21-per-cent year-on-year growth in July.

“During the two-week relocation and transition into the new store, we were inundated with calls from customers daily on when they could shop at Adidas again. It came as no surprise that the company hit its weekly target in the first two days of trade,” Rucioch said.

Other popular premium brands in HTPO include Under Armour, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Polo Ralph Lauren.
