Restaurant Brands International (RBI), the parent company of Burger King, Tim Hortons and Popeyes, is making a fresh attempt to revive its fortunes in China.  The company is handing over majority control of its struggling Burger King business in China to local private equity firm CPE for US$350 million, in an effort to strengthen its presence in the world’s second-largest market.
