Pharmacists on the frontline: How the RAT crisis is putting staff at risk

Since the explosion of Omicron cases in Australia over the Christmas period and the resulting strain on PCR test centres, many state governments are now advising citizens to use rapid antigen testing (RAT) and to report a positive result to the state health department.  But in NSW and the ACT, the reporting mechanisms are not yet available, resulting in a large chunk of positive cases going unreported.  The bigger issue at play, however, is the continued shortage of rapid antigen tests
