French contemporary furniture company Ligne Roset is to launch its first store in Perth, in the suburb of Claremont.
Located at 205 Stirling Highway, the store will occupy a 200sqm space, part of a retail complex which also includes Miele, Arthur G and Beacon Lighting.
Peter Millard, associate director of Knight Frank, who oversaw the three-year lease to Ligne Roset, said that even in the shadow of Covid 19, international tenants are prepared to commit to quality locations and see Western Australia as performing well compared to other states with the country.
The Ligne Roset Perth store is scheduled to open later this month.
“This new store will combine with other international tenants such as Miele and demonstrates the demand for high quality furniture in the upmarket suburb of Claremont,” Millard said
Ligne Roset already Australian stores in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
According to Millard, Western Australia has seen a strong sales growth in furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, computers and electronics as people have adjust to working from home since the initial Covid-19 lockdown.
Michael Fotis, MD of Ligne Roset Perth said the brand chose the site because Claremont has a reputation as the go-to suburb for quality Australian and International homeware brands.
“With this exclusive Ligne Roset showroom, we aim to offer the design-savvy Perth consumer a variety of designer furniture and accessories for every room in their home.”
