Zimmermann grows international footprint

Zimmermann will open its second US store later this year in September, as the fashion retailer continues to extend its international footprint.

The new store, around three times the size of its current Soho site, will become the brand’s biggest international store to date. Resource-6

“It’s just down the road from our current Soho store,” Nicky Zimmermann, owner of Zimmermann, told Fairfax.

“It’s in a lovely cast iron heritage building with high ceilings and plenty of space.

“The current Soho store has done really well and the opportunity to create a bigger brand statement is really important for us in such a global fashion destination,” Zimmermann said.

The label has also signed a deal to create a four piece capsule collection with global e-tailer, Net-A-Porter.

Zimmermann, which also has a store in LA, plans to roll out more stores across the US, UK, and Europe over the next two years.
