Spanish fashion giant, Zara, is expected to open its first Home concept store in Australia next year. Inside Retail PREMIUM understands the Zara Home store will be in Sydney’s Pitt St Mall Glasshouse arcade, replacing current tenant, Sussan. The Spanish retailer was one of the first fashion internationals to open in Australia in 2011, with a three level, 1400sqm store at Westfield Sydney. It has around 13 stores in Australia,  across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, and Queenslandâ€
€™s Gold Coast.
Zara Home began in 2003 selling homewares and accessories such as loungewear, rugs, lamps, and tableware, and has more than 400 stores in 40 countries.
Next year Glasshouse will also become home to H&M’s Sydney flagship.
The site will be the first Sydney CBD location for the fast fashion chain and will be around 5000sqm spanning three levels.
It is understood it will hold all of H&M collections including men’s, women’s, and childrens fashion, footwear, sportswear, accessories, and H&M Home.
