Vans to open four new stores in Perth

Footwear brand Vans has announced it will open four new stores in Perth and one in Brisbane in the coming weeks.

The Perth stores, which will open before October 3, are the brand’s first retail presence in Western Australia.

The retailer’s Brisbane CBD store, which will open on September 21, is the first Vans concept store to be introduced in the area.

To celebrate the expansion, Vans is partnering with Varsity Burgers to offer complimentary burgers at each site on opening day.

Vans and Varsity will also partner to throw a celebration bash at Varsity Morley on September 15, celebrating the brand’s pillars of live music, action sports, art and street culture with sets from Ray Finkle and Heavy Flow, skateboarding and BMX, live art from David the Robot, Sam Johns, Steve Bell and Hartley Design.

All stores will also feature the brand’s latest collaboration with Disney to mark the 90th anniversary of cartoon figure Mickey Mouse, which launched globally on August 25.

The collaboration, dubbed Vault by Vans and Disney, showcases artwork from John Van Hamersveld, Mister Cartoon, Geoff McFetridge and Taka Hayashi, featuring the beloved character.
