Valentino shoppers customise

valentino-studsLuxury brand, Valentino, is letting its shoppers customise their leather goods with hearts, stars, or other symbols.

The customisable collection celebrates Valentino’s signature colour of red across a range of leather goods.

The Rouge Absolute Signature range allows consumers to place studs on shoes, bags, and leather jackets as they wish.

Leather items can be customised with their initials or other symbols, such as a peace sign or dragon.

The collection is a spin off of Valentino’s newer Rockstud line, which has been a hit with fashion magazines in the last six months.

It is promoted via a video on the luxury brand’s website with the tagline “make it yours”.

If customisation is available for an item, a button appears next to it on Valentino’s online store.

The button takes online shoppers to another area to choose which symbols they would like to add.

Valentino is not the only luxury brand that’s across the wider shopper trend towards personalisation.

For example, French label, Longchamp, celebrated its 20th anniversary with customisable handbags.

Luxury shoppers can also add their initials to a range of Longchamp’s leather goods.

In Australia, mid-market brand, Shoes of Prey, has long been letting local shoppers personalise their ultimate pair of heels.
