Timezone has confirmed its new location at The Strand, Coolangatta will open on  February 27, 2016.

Finishing touches are still being made to the 3000sqm family entertainment centre, with Timezone Gold Coast operations manager, Jamin Jacub, asserting the location was attractive for the gaming brand.

“Our choice of Coolangatta is based around what we feel is needed in the area, and our new family entertainment centre is certainly able to meet that need. The Timezone Coolangatta centre will complement our already highly successful Surfers Paradise location, as well as providing additional jobs on the Southern Gold Coast,” Jacub said.

As the second location on the Gold Coast, the new location represents a milestone for the Timezone brand. Strategically located in close proximity to the Gold Coast Airport, the new destination will aim to attract both domestic and international visitors as well as local residents.

“With The Strand emerging as the ultimate dining, lifestyle and entertainment precinct in Coolangatta following the $60 million redevelopment, there’s no better place for Timezone to capture the growing family market,”said The Strand’s marketing manager, Sarah Clasen.
