Ted Baker expanding online and off

Ted BakerFashion brand, Ted Baker, has launched its first transactional Australian website and is planning to continue its Aussie expansion, opening four new stores.

Currently Ted Baker has six stores around Australia and a spokesperson for the brand said they were in the process of taking that total to 10.

Tedbaker.com/au launched with the spring/summer 2015 collection “Pinch Me” and will stock exclusive internet-only styles in menswear, womenswear, accessories and footwear as well as Ted’s iconic Collections, including Endurance and T For Tall.

When asked if the online store complements or competes with the existing Ted Baker stores and other the other retail outlets where it is distributed, the spokesperson responded, “They are most definitely complementing one another. As with all of Ted’s e-commerce channels they work to support the bricks and mortar stores and vice versa.”

Ted Baker will use courier service Royale Internationale to ensure purchases made from the Australian site will be delivered within one to three days.
