Sydney Airport calls for food retailers

Sydney Airport diningAs part the redevelopment program of Terminal 2, Sydney Airport is on the hunt for six new “fast and fresh food kiosks” to join the casual dining precinct.

The works at the domestic terminal will deliver a newly designed food and beverage space within the casual dining precinct and will transform the passenger experience and create a greater level of ambience within the terminal.

Expanded seating areas in the precinct will be centrally located to accommodate travellers in a relaxed setting.

The chosen providers will join T2’s recently announced line-up that includes Chur Burger, SumoSalad Green Label, Hokka Hokka, Roll’d, Mad Mex, Sahara Grill and Red Rooster.

Sydney Airport general manager retail, Glyn Williams, said the second phase of the T2 casual dining precinct transformation offers an exceptional opportunity for compelling fast and fresh food brands.

“Since announcing stage one of the works at the T2 casual dining precinct in March, we’ve had an incredible response from passengers on the food brands coming into this space. Everyone is genuinely excited about the new offering that sits perfectly within the heart of Australia’s busiest airport terminal,” Williams said.
