Surfstitch secretary resigns

surfstitchStephanie Belton has resigned as company secretary for embattled surfwear retailer Surfstitch.

With the company in voluntary administration and trading in company shares currently suspended, no replacement will be made to the role.

“Depending on the outcome of the administration, a new company secretary may be appointed in due course,” Surfstitch-appointed administrators FTI Consulting said in a statement.

John Park, Quentin Olde and Joseph Hansell of FTI will consequently be responsible for Surfstitch’s communications with the ASX.

Earlier this month, Surfstitch sold off wholly owned UK subsidiary, Surfdome Shop Limited to UK-based Internet Fusion Limited.

FTI is currently presiding over restructure proposals made for the company before it is due to deliver its report and recommendation to creditors about the future of the business.
