Sumo Salad’s new appointment

Sumo salad 3Sumo Salad has appointed former Pizza Hut operations chief, Adam Arnold, as its new head of retail.

The appointment comes following the departure of COO Ian Winn, who has since gone on to lead Oporto as CEO.

Arnold previously spent 18 years with Yum! Restaurants International, holding leadership roles including operations project leader, site development manager and business development manager across both Pizza Hut and KFC.

Arnold said it is a privilege to lead Sumo Salad retail operations.

“The opportunity to help expand and grow the business in the franchise and QSR space is an exciting one. After spending almost two decades working with some of the most innovative brands in fast food, I am thrilled to bring my expertise to a business that is dedicated to providing Australians with healthy options.”

Luke Baylis, Sumo Salad CEO, said Arnold is a passionate senior executive with a proven track record helping businesses grow in franchise environments.

“In addition, he has worked on all facets of the franchise industry, from working on the floor, to human resources, marketing and business development,” he said.

“Adam’s widespread knowledge and experience comes at a very exciting time for Sumo Salad, as we aim to take the franchise to new heights and locations over the next five years. We’re excited to have him on board and believe the company will benefit greatly from his experience in the franchise and fast food arena.”
