Super Retail Group-owned outdoor and sports brand, Auzzie Outdoors, will open its first physical store in China.

Auzzie Outdoors first launched online in China last year.

The brand is operated in China by local partner, SRG Trading, which has also introduced other Australian brands including Arctics Star, Outdoor Expedition, and Asana, to the local market.

The company says the store, to be located in Shanghai, aims to provide greater interaction and engagement with customers.

The store will offer products for travel, running, aquatics, camping, hiking, yoga, racket sports, and skiing.

Wu Donghua, GM of SRG Trading, China e-commerce, is optimistic about Auzzie Outdoors’ potential, saying more Chinese people are realising the importance of taking up sports and pursuing a healthy lifestyle.

SRG owns Amart All Sports, BCF Boating Camping Fishing, Goldcross Cycles, FCO Fishing Camping Outdoors, Ray’s Outdoors, Rebel Sport, and Supercheap Auto, as well as its business division, Super Retail Commercial.
