Shots fired at Sydney shopping centre

policeShots have been fired in a shopping centre car park in western Sydney in what police believe is a bikie related incident.

Police were called to the Penrith shopping centre after the shooting at about 6.15pm on Sunday.

A 24 year old man was arrested inside the Station St shopping centre.

It’s alleged he was carrying a loaded 9mm pistol and ammunition together with a white powder believed to be amphetamine.

The man complained of chest pains and is under guard in Nepean Hospital.

Officers have located a white Toyota Hilux at nearby Emu Plains with what’s believed to be a bullet mark on its bumper.

Investigations are continuing and police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
