A NSW shop owner was reportedly taken against his will and later dumped on the roadside, during one of two robberies in Shoalhaven on Monday.
About 6.15pm a man entered a grocery store on Island Point Road, near Tasman Road, at St Georges Basin and demanded cash.
Investigators have been told during the robbery, the 49 year old male shop owner was taken against his will and driven away in his own vehicle, a blue coloured Holden Commodore station wagon with NSW registration BPM-07G.
He was found about 7pm on Turpentine Road, Tomerong, suffering minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The man’s vehicle has not yet been recovered.
Police are also investigating a second robbery that occurred a few minutes earlier at a supermarket on Paradise Beach Road, Sanctuary Point.
Detectives from Shoalhaven Local Area Command are investigating the full circumstances surrounding both incidents.
They are urging anyone who sights the stolen car not to approach it, but instead to contact triple zero.
