Cosmetics chain, Sephora has continued its Aussie expansion, confirming it will open its fifth NSW store at Macarthur Square in Sydney’s southwest in June.
It will be the second store opened this year by the French beauty retailer and the ninth across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
The LVMH-owned chain said the new store will include brands Tarte, Anastasia, Kat Von D, Beauty Blender and Marc Jacobs Beauty and new products from Blithe, Murad, Tarte Skincare and the Sephora collection. It will also incorporate direct-from-the-US fixtures including the ‘Benefit Brow Bar’ and ‘Beauty Studio’ with one-on-one access to beauty experts.
“After such a great reception for our four Sydney stores (Pitt St, Broadway, Macquarie and Warringah), it is clear that there is huge demand for Sephora’s exclusive brand offering in NSW,” said Libby Amelia, country manager of Sephora Australia. “Naturally we are thrilled to be able to offer our south west Sydney customers the opportunity to experience the wonderful world of Sephora, right on their doorstep at Macarthur Square.”
Following its recent $240 million redevelopment, Macarthur Square is the largest shopping centre in south west Sydney.
Sephora joins department store giant, David Jones, at the revamped shopping centre, who recently opened as part of the centre’s multi-million dollar refurbishment with a ‘new look’ store.
