Sentinel secures NSW shopping centres

Bathurst ChaseSentinel Property Group has acquired three shopping centres in northwest NSW for a total of $21.55 million.

The three neighbourhood shopping centres are Bathurst Chase Shopping Centre, Kierath’s Shopping Square, and Coles Wellington.

Bathurst Chase Shopping Centre features a 4255sqm Coles, one mini-major and 16 specialty tenancies at 39 William St in Bathurst, 200km northwest of Sydney.

Kierath’s Shopping Square includes a 2141sqm Coles, Liquorland, six specialty tenancies, and an ATM at Dandaloo St in Narromine, 430km northwest of Sydney. Coles Wellington features a 2217sqm Coles and an ATM and is located at 128-140 Percy St in Wellington, 350km northwest of Sydney.

The three properties were acquired in one line from Charter Hall Retail REIT and are the latest additions to the growing Sentinel Countrywide Retail Trust, which now comprises seven retail assets.

The three new properties in NSW join the Trust’s two existing shopping centres in Emerald in Queensland, and centres in Townsville, Queensland and Dubbo, NSW.

These latest NSW acquisitions bring the company’s total national property portfolio to 33 retail, industrial, office, and land assets in Queensland, NSW and Victoria valued at in excess of $700 million.
