Rundle Mall partners with Vogue on shopping event

Adelaide’s iconic shopping hub Rundle Mall is partnering with Vogue Australia on Vogue Festival, which will feature runway shows, giveaways and meet and greets in an effort to boost the local industry.

The event, to be held during the Adelaide Fashion Festival on October 19 and 20, looks to replicate the success of the inaugural Vogue Festival in 2017, which saw over $45 million in retail sales.

Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann said this year’s attendees will be treated to hundreds of in-store offers, discounts and fashion experiences to become fully immersed in the glamorous occasion.

David Jones has signed on as a supporting partner of the event and will bring its Rundle Mall location to life with offers, activations and for our customers, according to the department store’s general manager of womenswear and accessories, Bridget Veals.

David Jones’ ambassador and international supermodel, Jessica Gomes, will also be making her way to Adelaide for the festival.

“The fusion of South Australia’s biggest fashion players, David Jones and Rundle Mall, for Vogue Festival, as part of the Adelaide Fashion Festival, represents a dynamic illustration of our local industry, and we are proud to showcase it all right here in Rundle Mall,” Kate Fuss, acting general manager of the Rundle Mall Management Authority, said.
