Nike club opens at Melbourne centre

Melbourne Central NTCMelbourne Central is the new home and flagship location of Australia’s first ever Nike Training Club (NTC) space – an extension of the Nike fitness app.

The global sports brand has transformed an under utilised space on level two of Melbourne Central into a New York style training loft with an industrial feel, complete with muted concrete interior and glowing Nike neon sign adorning the wall.

NTC sessions are a 45 minute workout created for women and hosted by a Nike master trainer. The session involves a mix of professional cardio and weight training routines from the Nike Training Club app translated into physical practice based on Nike’s athlete ambassadors’ workout regimes.

Outside of the weekly training club, NTC also offers individual assessments, a reward program, shoe trialling, and special guest trainers and speakers.

The classes will run for one hour every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm for the next eight months, with 50 spots available per class and registrations open seven days prior.

“We’re very excited to welcome the Nike Training Club to Melbourne Central and support an initiative which promotes health, wellbeing and fitness amongst the community,” said Justin Shannon, GM of Melbourne Central.

“Many of our customers are young female students, therefore, the Nike Training Club is not only the perfect fit for Melbourne Central but it’s giving them another reason to visit.”
