Pie Face has appointed former Brumby’s Bakery chief, Kevin Waite, as its new MD for Australia and New Zealand.

Waite joined Retail Food Group (RFG) as MD of Brumby’s Australia and New Zealand divisions in August 2013.

Prior to his position at Brumby’s,Waite held several leadership roles in the food franchising area including MD of Steers, part of Famous Brands, South Africa’s quick service and casual dining restaurant franchisor; CEO, Franchising division of Innscor International; and was also GM of local chain, Ribs and Rumps.

Pie Face, which launched in Sydney in 2003, has 89 stores across Australia, the United States, and New Zealand, and plans to expand into the Middle East, Malaysia, and Singapore in the next few years.
