Myer adds to fashion stable

MyerMyer has secured Seed, Nine West, and French Connection to its stable of designer labels.

Seed, Nine West, and French Connection will each be sold in Myer stores under concession agreements, with the rollout to begin from next month and be completed across all allocated stores in 2016.

Seed womenswear will be available in 44 Myer stores and childrenswear in 27 stores.Nine West will be available in 20 Myer stores and French Connection womenswear will be available in 47 Myer stores and menswear in 38 stores.

Myer chief merchandise and marketing officer, deputy CEO, Daniel Bracken, said the brand additions will make a significant contribution to transforming Myer’s merchandise assortment through revitalised ranging and strong brand emphasis.

“Our recent detailed analysis of both our current and future Myer customers has given us great insight into the merchandise and services these customers want to enrich their lifestyles. We have selected these modern, timeless, and stylish brands to further strengthen our range of fashionable apparel, footwear, and accessories for our Myer customers,” Bracken said.

Other brands recently acquired by Myer include Alex Perry, Aje, by johnny, White Suede, MJ Bale, Scotch & Soda, and Oscar de la Renta.

“With more inspiring brands in our mix our relevance to customers will increase, and we can harness our customer’s passion for our brand. We are confident that our loyal customers will be excited by these new brands in the Myer portfolio and look forward to offering inspirational new spring summer collections from Seed, Nine West, and French Connection in our stores over the coming months,” Bracken said.
