Luxury watch brand to open Sydney flagship

Pembroke 20MP Oct 001[4]Luxury watchmaker, Omega, will open its flagship Australian store in Sydney’s CBD, after leasing the last retail tenancy at 20 Martin Place.

Set over two levels, the store is expected to open its doors in the second half of 2016 and will include an Omega service centre.

The deal was secured by Pembroke Real Estate, who have worked with local architects Crone Partners and the international team of James Carpenter Design Associates on the redevelopment of the building.

“We are delighted to welcome Omega and its luxury watch offering to 20 Martin Place as this means we are 100 per cent let in terms of the building’s retail offer,” said Pembroke Real Estate senior vice president and head of Asia Pacific, Jack Clark.

“With a prime retail location, 20 Martin Place was designed to appeal to premium brands, and shoppers will be excited by the dynamic mix of retailers opening in 2016.”

Located in Sydney’s CBD, the building is set over 19,200 sq m of commercial office and retail space. The redevelopment features a new façade, new building systems and technology.

Pembroke said it is one of Sydney’s first commercial office buildings to be delivered with LED light fittings installed to all office floors.

Omega will join automotive company Tesla and ANZ at the redeveloped site.
