Dulux has partnered with local fashion duo, Ginger & Smart, for its interior design initiative, United by Style.
Now in its third year, United by Style aims to demonstrates innovative styling techniques to customers by combining the latest fashion and interior trends. Previous United By Style collaborations have included fashion brands Gorman and Romance is Born.
This year, United by Style will launch a new format that will see Dulux’s interior design team, lead by creative consultant, Bree Leech, style rooms of a Melbourne home using colours, patterns, and textures from Ginger & Smart’s 2015 Autumn Winter collection, Arcadia. The Ginger & Smart inspired home is expected to be revealed next month.
“Fashion and style has a strong influence on the home and we feel this strategic partnership will allow for thought provoking initiatives that blur the boundaries between the industries,” Rachel Oakley, marketing manager, Dulux Australia Colour.
“We are proud to be aligning with a premium Australia fashion label that aspires to luxury design and celebrates colour,” Oakley said.
Ginger & Smart was founded by Sydney-based sisters, Alexander and Genevieve Smart, in 2002. Ginger & Smart has three standalone boutiques, two in Sydney and one in Melbourne, and is also stocked in department store, David Jones.
