Lorna Jane lands at Sydney Airport

Sydney Airport Lorna Jane Active Living Room1Sydney Airport and Lorna Jane have partnered to create a retail concept touted as the first space of its kind within an airport terminal anywhere in the world.

Sydney Airport general manager of retail, Glyn Williams, said the new offering forms part of the refreshed T2 domestic terminal and addresses customer feedback.

“The Lorna Jane active living room is a global airport first for Sydney Airport and the unique health and wellbeing offering forms part of our wider improvements program designed to create an enhanced airport experience for passengers. The new space affords our passengers an opportunity to experience a greater sense of wellbeing within the airport environment,” said Williams.

The new space allows passengers to partake in yoga or strength sessions and enjoy healthy snacks before flights. Lorna Jane active living rewards members can enjoy free access to the living room area while guests of the lounge can also experience healthy treats from Australian health food providers.

“We are thrilled to partner with Sydney Airport and provide passengers with the opportunity to exercise, stretch and nourish with healthy food before boarding their flight and ultimately be healthier and happier,” said Lorna Jane founder and chief creative officer, Lorna Jane Clarkson.

“People are more mindful of their health than ever before so it makes sense to bring our active living room concept to Sydney’s T2 domestic terminal and provide passengers with the opportunity to put their health first, even when travelling.”

The Lorna Jane Active Living Room is located in Sydney Airport’s T2 Departures. Yoga and pilates classes will run for 45 minutes, Monday – Friday costing $12.00.
