Lindt to open next retail outlet in Melbourne

image001Swiss chocolatier , Lindt & Sprüngli, has announced the opening of a new retail store in Melbourne on April 2.

Located at Essendon’s DFO Outlet Shopping Centre, The Lindt Chocolate Shop will feature a wide range of premium chocolate products with the Lindt Chocolate Bar to serve takeaway chocolate beverages.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our store network within Melbourne,” said Lindt Australia CEO, Stephen Loane. “Our chocolate shops at DFO Moorabbin and DFO South Wharf have proven to be very successful and based on this we have identified DFO Essendon to be a perfect addition to our retail portfolio.”

The store will stock a range of products exclusive to Lindt Chocolate Shops and Chocolate Cafés including the largest selection of Lindor balls in Australia. The grand opening will be celebrated with a giveaway of 1kg worth of Lindor balls to the first 100 customers who spend $10 or more in-store between April 2-3.

Lindt DFO Essendon is located opposite the Food Court with a physical footprint of 143 square metres.

There are currently eight Lindt Chocolate Cafés and nine Lindt Chocolate Shops across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
