Leaders invited to talk shop

apple, business, idea, conceptThe National Online Retailers Association (NORA) will host its annual Leadership Summit on the Gold Coast next month.

Co-hosted by Russell Zimmerman, executive director of the Australian Retailers Association (ARA), and Paul Greenberg, executive chairman of NORA.org.au, the invitation only event is designed for C-level executives, or equivalent authority, from retail brands in Australia, as well as top tier executives from supply chain, technology, payments, and marketplaces.

The Summit, to be held over one and half days on September 1-2, is designed to push the boundaries of conversation, discussing key issues and challenges facing Australian retail including the changing role of shops in the future, education and skills for new retail, government and regulatory alignment and support, employment relations, and the lower value threshold.

‘The diversity of Australian retail will be reflected in the attendance. The summit will attract a variety of businesses including representatives from new and established businesses, and small group of relevant government bodies to actively engage around topics and questions that impact the retail ecosystem,” Greenberg said.

‘There is no event like this in where Australian retailers, and enablers of retail, are given the opportunity to come together and grow together. This year, we will benefit from Where to from Here, providing world class facilitation.”

Chris Richardson of Deloitte has been named as the keynote speaker of the event.
