King Living expands locally and abroad

KING_LIVINGAussie furniture retail chain King Living has expanded both locally and abroad, announcing a new flagship at Bondi Junction in Sydney and a move into Canada.

The new Bondi Junction showroom will house King’s range of sofa designs, dining and bed ranges, and outdoor collections across two levels in a 440 square metre (sqm) space.

The retailer, which has now been in operations for over four decades, enlisted design practice Russell & George for the new showroom.

“As King continues to expand into the international market, our new Bondi store is a lovely reminder of home, and why King Living is iconically Australian,” said Anna Carrabs, King Living’s CEO.

The Bondi Junction store will open this weekend.

International ambitions

King Living is also adding to its international footprint, with the announcement it will open a showroom in Vancouver, Canada. The store will join King’s international presence in Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand.

Situated in Vancouver’s ‘South Granville’ shopping district, the two-level store will join other retailers in the area, known to serve Vancouver’s West side.

King will be housed in a 1000sqm, two-level space.

“King Living constantly strives to push the boundaries and create innovative designs,” said Carrabs.

“We are extremely excited to bring our beautiful furniture to the Canadian market.”
