Kathmandu CEO quits

 

kathmanduThe CEO of adventure clothing retailer Kathmandu is resigning to take a break.

Peter Halkett, who in his time as CEO oversaw the company’s listing on the Australian and New Zealand share markets, will leave on November 25.

“I have been with Kathmandu for eight years and feel the time is now right for me to take a break, up to a year off, and then look for a fresh challenge,” he said.

Kathmandu shares were down 7.5 cents, or 2.3 per cent, at $2.95 at 1400 AEST.

Halkett will be temporarily replaced by Kathmandu’s COO Mark Todd while the company searches for a permanent successor.
