Helloworld rollout underway

helloworld600Helloworld, formerly Jetset Travelworld Group, has begun converting stores to its new banner, with more than 600 sites expected to be trading by the end of the year.

Jetset Travelworld announced the group’s name change, replacing Harvey World Travel, Travelscene, Jetset, and Travelworld,  last month as part of its plan to simplify its network of travel agents.

Rob Gurney, CEO at Helloworld Limited, says the agent uptake of the new travel brand is continuing to exceed expectations.

“Following our consumer launch and our Frontliners Conference last weekend, Helloworld’s momentum continues to grow,” Gurney said.

“There are now over 225 Helloworld locations signed up and a further 425 locations due to transition over to Helloworld before the end of the year.

“Additionally, we have already refreshed over 60 stores with our new Helloworld branding, with a further 50 stores due to be completed by the end of February.”

In addition to providing a store refresh, Helloworld branded agents can choose to further upgrade their locations to become ‘Ambassador’ stores, featuring new collaborative spaces and interactive technology.

Helloworld Waverley Gardens in Victoria, is the first to receive Ambassador store interiors.

Up to 10 Helloworld Ambassador stores are expected to be completed by the end of March.

Debbie Wilkie, the Owner of Helloworld Waverley Gardens explains that customers can expect a fresh, modern store design that brings travel agencies into the 21st century.

“We’re delighted with our new store design and our consultants couldn’t wait to get started. Customers feel at home as soon as they enter our store and that’s something that we take a lot of pride in. It’s a comfortable and friendly environment where customers can seek expert travel advice about researching, planning and booking their holiday,” says Wilkie.

The new Helloworld.com.au website is backed by Orbitz Worldwide’s proven global technology, enabling customers to book anytime, anywhere.
