Helloworld CFO departs

helloworldThe CFO of Helloworld, Jenny Macdonald, will leave the travel company at the end of April following the complete integration with AOT Group.

The two travel companies merged in February, sparking a number of board and management changes within the new organisation.

Macdonald said she had greatly enjoyed her time as CFO for the company.

“It has been immensely rewarding from the outset and more recently working closely with Andrew Burnes, CEO and managing director, and the AOT transition team to ensure a smooth transition,” Macdonald said.

Burnes thanked Macdonald for her contribution to the company, which included a period as acting CEO following the departure of former CEO, Elizabeth Gaines.

“It has been a delight to work with Jenny over the past few months through the transition period and I want to reiterate that the decision to leave the business and seek other opportunities and challenges is Jenny’s and Jenny’s alone and we will always be grateful for her contribution to the business,” Burnes said.

The company said it will announce a replacement shortly.
