Australian owned chocolate retailer, Haigh’s Chocolates, has announced plans to open a third Sydney store at shopping centre, Chatswood Chase, in March.

The layout of the North Shore shop will keep within Haigh’s well established store design, including spacious and light filled interiors accented with finishes in Jarrah, Tasmanian oak, marble, and glass.

Chatswood Chase centre manager, Tony Gardiner, says the expansion of the chocolatier into the retail centre complements the array of local and international brands it houses.

“Chatswood Chase Sydney is delighted to welcome Haigh’s Chocolates to the centre. It’s a great addition to our stellar line-up of Australian and international brands” he said.

The new store comes on the back of rising sales of Haigh’s chocolates in Sydney, which have increased year-on-year since its inception ten years ago in the iconic Strand Arcade.

The company cites the success of this store, and its flagship shop in Sydney’s Queen Victoria Building, as influencing its growth trajectory towards Sydney’s northern suburbs.

“This support gave us confidence and drove our decision to expand again, this time over the Bridge, on the North Shore, said Alister Haigh, CEO, Haigh’s.

“We chose Chatswood Chase Sydney because we believe it to be one of the best shopping centres in metropolitan Sydney.  It fits well with what we, at Haigh’s, look for in a quality retail setting.

“We can’t wait to welcome dedicated Haigh’s Chocolates enthusiasts and new customers to Chatswood Chase Sydney in March,” Haigh continued.

The establishment of the Chatswood Chase space will bring the company’s footprint to 15 stores nationally.
