Gelatissimo appoints Fred Pose as franchise development manager, driving an increase in new franchisees to the Gelatissimo network since his appointment.

As a former franchisee of Oporto’s, Pose understands the industry from both a franchisee and a franchisor point of view. He is also formerly Oporto’s head of franchising.

“I can see the long term potential of Gelatissimo,” said Pose.

“The existing management has already done a great job of profiling the type of person best suited for a Gelatissimo franchise, but developing a recruitment system that can keep pace with our rapid growth is an exciting personal challenge for me,” he said.

Gelatissimo acting CEO, Filipe Barbosa, said Pose’s strategic and operational skills will ensure the best possible franchisees.
