The awards program was launched earlier this year and is aimed at raising the profile of Australian retail businesses that place the customer at the very core of everything they do.
“These awards shift the limelight to the people of the businesses who create lasting and memorable experiences for their customers every day,” said event manager, Catherine van der Meulen.
The awards are being adjudicated by a panel of judges comprising retail representatives from Azurium, Telstra, Australian Centre for Retail Studies, Good On You, and Inside Retail.

The inaugural Retail Customer Excellence Awards will climax in a gala dinner and awards ceremony at The Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne on Wednesday May 11. Super Retail Group CEO, Peter Birtles, will give the keynote address on the night.
