Fashion Exposed joins AGHA

 

FashionExposedThe Australian Gifts & Home Association has acquired fashion trade event, Fashion Exposed.

Fashion Exposed is Australia’s largest dedicated fashion buying trading fair, held over three days, twice a year, in Sydney and Melbourne.

Formerly operated by Informa Exhibitions, the event will now run alongside the AGHA’S annual Home & Giving Fair.

“We are incredibly proud of our achievements over the past 14 years continually providing an unparalleled platform for retailers to buy, network, and educate themselves in the increasingly demanding business of retail,” Harvey Stockbridge, MD of Informa Exhibitions, said.

“At the same time we have provided wholesalers and designers with an opportunity to develop business contacts and increase sales. We look forward to handing over this world class event to AGHA and ensure a smooth transition for exhibitors, visitors, suppliers, and partners,” Stockbridge said.

“The challenging environment over the past few years has generated a need for retailers to diversify their instore product offering and creating a show that provides the industry with a ‘one stop-shop is the way forward.The new look Home & Giving Fair, encompassing Fashion Exposed, will offer a unique opportunity for buyers to access a more comprehensive and diverse range of products, all under one roof.”

Omer Soker, executive GM of AGHA said the strategic move creates the largest and most comprehensive gift, homewares, and fashion show in Sydney, and will be housed within the massive expansion of 32,000sqm of expo space at Sydney Olympic Park promising to attract even more buyers for both Home & Giving Fair and Fashion Exposed exhibitors.

The Home & Giving Fair encompassing Fashion Exposed will be held in Sydney 21 – 24 February 2015 at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.

Fashion Exposed will also run alongside the Home & Giving Fair in Melbourne in August.
