Ram raiders have made a mess of a designer clothing store in Sydney’s eastern suburbs but police say nothing was stolen.

A passer-by reported seeing a van smash through the window of the Gant store at Woollahra about 3.30am (AEDT) on Tuesday.

Officers found the front of the Queen St building had been rammed by a stolen van and several items of clothing on the footpath.

Witnesses heard several loud bangs and spotted three men in the building.

Police say it doesn’t appear any property is missing.

A Honda Civic, also believed to have been stolen, was found abandoned nearby.
