Acclaimed Australian designer Collette Dinnigan is downsizing.
Dinnigan will close her boutiques in Sydney, Melbourne, and London and stop producing her signature, luxury bridal and evening attire to spend time with her family, The Australian Financial Review reports.
“I am not closing for financial reasons, at all. It has absolutely nothing to do with it,” Dinnigan told the paper.
“This is about finding a way to spend more time with my family.”
She will also no longer show in Paris.
Dinnigan has spent two years looking for someone to manage the company and/or invest in it, but could not find the right person.
She will continue to produce her diffusion line called collette by Collette Dinnigan and children’s line and other design deals.
