Retail Food Group (RFG) coffee chain, Michel’s Patisserie, has been named Australia’s Coffee Shop of the Year for 2014 in the annual Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards.
The independent study, which surveyed more than 50,000 consumers, found Michel’s Patisserie to be the highest rating coffee shop by customers for the fourth consecutive year.
The Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards recognise retailers that go the extra mile to satisfy their customers.
Alicia Atkinson, MD at Michel’s Patisserie, said it was heartening to once again be recognised at a national level.
“Our customers initially come for our award-winning coffee, but come back again and again for the welcoming service Michel’s Patisseries have become renowned for,” she said.
RFG owns the Donut King, Brumby’s Bakery, Michel’s Patisserie, bb’s café, Esquires, The Coffee Guy, Pizza Capers Gourmet Kitchen, and Crust Gourmet Pizza franchise systems.
