Chemist Warehouse launches new store

chemist warehouseAustralia’s largest pharmacy retailer, Chemist Warehouse, will open its 115th Victorian store within the iconic Bourke St Mall shopping precinct today.

Chemist Warehouse will mark the occasion with an official ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by Susan Riley, Deputy Lord Mayor of Melbourne, and a performance by the Melbourne Choir of Hope & Inspiration.

The company says it’s pleased to continue its local expansion, with the 450sq foot store within Bourke St Mall signifying a business milestone.

“As a Melbourne born business, to launch a store in Bourke Street Mall alongside all the other major retailers that are institutions here in Australia, is a significant milestone for us. What’s also important is the chance for us to give back and support the local community when the opportunity arises,” said Mario Tascone, COO, Chemist Warehouse Group.

“That’s why we are so excited to partner with the iconic Melbourne Choir of Hope & Inspiration and get them on board to help us launch this new store. We look forward to building an ongoing relationship with the group.”
