Starting a new chapter in its 21 year history, The Cheesecake Shop has opened the doors at its head office in Villawood, Sydney.
Designed by Sydney architectural firm, PTI Group, and built by Vantage Corp, the new open plan office features a light filled central courtyard, breakout spaces and state of the art fittings and fixtures.
The office also houses new training rooms for franchisees attending ‘Cheesecake University’.
“We have spent a lot of time working towards creating both a technologically sound and inviting work environment. It has been a fabulous breath of fresh air and we look forward to welcoming new franchisees into our unique space,” Warwick Konopacki, joint founder and MD of The Cheesecake Shop, said.
Incorporating a design element of their own, the building also features an award winning series of strategically placed light tubes that allow light to stream in.
PTI Group Architect, Lewis Lau, commented, “It was an exciting project to work on. I am particularly proud of the light tubes, which offered us a chance to bounce light without compromising on efficiency”.
