Boost Juice, Thank You heads to speak at 2016 Eftpos ARA Australian Retail Awards

ARABoost Juice’s co-founder and the founder of social enterprise company, Thank You, will speak at next month’s ARA 2016 Australian Retail Awards.

Jeff Allis, co-Founder of Australian retailer Boost Juice, and Daniel Flynn, founder of social enterprise company, Thank You, and maker of Thank you branded water, food and bodycare products, will entertain guests on August 10 at a breakfast event at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne.

The Australian Retail Awards is considered the industry’s longest running recognition of retail success.

Allis, who founded Boost Juice in 2000 with his wife, Janine, and founder of Retail Zoo, will provide the guests at the event with insights into the success of Retail Zoo. Retail Zoo has turned a single brand business into a power house, multi-brand international retailer, operating more than 400 stores across 10 countries.

Flynn, who began the Thank You business in 2008 with a single product, Thank You Water, and a dream to empower consumers to play a part in ending global poverty through simple every day purchases, will be motivating the guests at the event with the lessons he’s learned in the eight-year Thank You journey, organisers of the event said. Today, the Thank You business has more than 40 products and is available in 5000 outlets in Australia, with 100 percent of its profits going towards safe water, food, and hygiene and sanitation services around the world.

Russell Zimmerman, ARA Executive Director, said the Awards Breakfast is an opportunity for all Australian retailers to come together to celebrate the success of their peers, network, and learn from other’s experience.

“To have Jeff and Daniel on board to share the journey and learnings behind their success is a real coup, and will only add to the atmosphere of celebration and industry support we expect the 2016 Awards to provide to retailers,” Zimmerman said.
