Baby Bunting non-executive director resigns

Baby-Bunting-Store-facadeSpecialty retailer Baby Bunting has announced its non-executive director, Stephen Roche, will step down on June 24.

The baby goods retailer said Roche’s decision followed his announcement he will be recommencing his executive career with Pharmaceutical Industries Limited where he served as CEO and managing director prior to his appointment as non-executive director at Baby Bunting.

Roche, who joined the company’s board in May 2017, said in the last year, Baby Bunting has been able to build on its position as Australia’s leading baby goods retailer through a period of significant industry consolidation.

“It’s been satisfying to be part of the board, albeit for only a short period,” he said. “Baby Bunting is well placed to continue its growth and success in the future.”

Ian Cornell, Baby Bunting’s chairman, said Roche has made a very valuable contribution to the company during his time on the board.

“We wish him all the best for his future endeavours.”
