The Australian dollar has fallen overnight, buying 69.96 US cents from 70.17 US cents on Thursday.
The local currency currently buys 62 Euro cents; 53 British pence; 77.9 Japanese yen; $1.05 New Zealand dollars; and 4.711 Chinese yuan renminbi.
