The Australian dollar is slightly higher, buying 74.56 US cents, from 74.05 US cents on Wednesday.
One Australian dollar also buys 82.73 Japanese yen, from 82.31 ; 63.55 euro cents, from 63.31 ; 56.53 British pence, from 56.22 and 109.03 NZ cents, from 108.79.
