The Australian dollar was practically unchanged Monday, buying 71.06 US cents from 71.09 US cents on Friday.

One Australian dollar buys 79.94 Japanese yen, from 79.95 ; 61.71 euro cents, from 62.04 ; 54.42 British pence, from 54.59 and 107.85 NZ cents, from 108.33.
