The Australian dollar has risen overnight to 70.67 US cents, up from 70.65 US cents on Tuesday.

The Aussie dollar also trades at 62.60 euro cents, down from 62.75 euro cents; 54.07 British pence, up from 53.44 pence; 78.69 Japanese yen, down from 78.73 yen; 4.741 Chinese yuan renminbi, up from 4.733 yuan renminbi; and remained stable at $1.03 New Zealand dollars.
