Australian dollar continues to fall

The Australian dollar continues to slide Thursday, buying 65.58 US cents at 0800 AEDT down from a near 11-year low of 65.88 US cents on Wednesday as the market closed.

One Australian dollar buys 72.2625 Japanese yen from 72.682; 60.16 euro cents from 60.65; 50.79 British pence from 50.76; 104.04 NZ cents from 104.34.
