A young man who allegedly held up a service station on the state’s Central Coast at knifepoint has been charged by police.
The man, 20, entered the petrol station at Avoca Beach armed with a knife and demanded money from two shop assistants about 9.30pm (AEDT) on October 12, police said.
The workers handed over cash and the robber fled.
The alleged thief was on Monday charged with robbery while armed.
He’s been refused bail and will face Gosford Local Court on Tuesday.
